Fanning the flames of the creative genius in each of us is of critical importance in the corporate world. In this professional development experience, your team will be challenged to think and work outside of the box as they engage in your choice of kinetic experiences. Menu items include Moving History's Vernacular Jazz dance, (photo above), photography, and/or videography courses.

Recommended Program: African Dance and/or Drum
Often, the first step on the road to empathy is experience. Moving History's African Dance and Drum programs invite participants to take a step outside of their comfort zones and dare to consider the values, aesthetics and customs of another culture. These exciting and embodied workshops teach teams concrete steps toward developing greater equity in the workplace by making space for other ways of developing and arriving at exemplary outcomes.
COMMUNICATION
Recommended Program: African Drumming
Communication is critical in any relationship, the workplace being no exception. Moving History's African Drumming program creates space for the acknowledgement and amplification of the voices and perspectives of each member of your corporate team, thereby laying the groundwork for both recognition and respect, which are key elements of successful communication.

Moving History invites you to bring your staff and community together around the dance floor and the dinner table. In our Swing Dance and Culinary Arts Corporate Programs, we create space for laughter and play, balanced with practice meeting goals while navigating uncharted territory.
